8 Chocolates Game

8 Chocolates Game, is a simple way to teach children about yogic concepts of the Eight fold path or Asthanga Yoga to children. Yama (Restraints-Donts), Niyama (Rules-Dos), Asana (postures), Pranayama (regulation of breath), Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation) and Samadhi (complete integration).

Ingenious way to teach children about yoga; Try today!

.1 Dot = Yama
. .2 Dots = Niyama
. . . 3 Dots = Asana
. . . .4 Dots = Pranayama
. . . . . 5 Dots = Pratyahara
. . . . . . 6 Dots = Dharana
. . . . . . . 7 Dots = Dhyana
. . . . . . . . 8 Dots = Samadhi

How to Play- Two people play the game. One child asks for the number from one to ten. Other child has to cleverly fold in such a way that many dots appear on top after folding. Three try given then next child’s turn.  Minimum one chocolate appears. On folding it can increase to twenty six. Don’t be greedy and learn to share.

One can create with any colours and material to play the game.

Concept Designed by Mr Neriosang Desai & Mrs Armaiti Desai, Revised on 10 March 2019 for Equal Streets.
